Become a Species Steward

Do you find yourself following native plant nerds on social media? Have you ever tried to pet a bumblebee? Do you own a gardening hat?

If so, you may be interested in becoming a Species Steward for our Habitat Restoration Initiative (HRI) planting sites in Hyde Park, Kansas City, Missouri!

Whether you have had a yard for years or live in an apartment with no balcony; whether you know what grows best in a glade or you can't identify a glade, we would love to see you in Hyde Park!

Sign up to volunteer here! We work each Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to noon. Learn to identify common native and invasive trees, shrubs, and flowers. Become a more conscious gardener!
